Five College Movers was awesome! We last minute decided to hire movers to help us empty our pod and some items for one house into another. The communication from the beginning was what sold me on using them. They got back to me quickly and answered any questions I had. The moving team was efficient, the emptied the 16’ pod in one hour & moved the items into the house into the designated rooms in about 3 hours. I was impressed with their precautions when brining the items into our home. They had drop cloths down & put up moving blankets in the door way to avoid damaging the entryway & furniture.

We are extremely pleased with their work & would recommend Five College movers to anyone who is looking for movers.

Movers were on time, polite and efficient.

Update: At the time of the move I was told there was damage insurance. My hardwood floor was damaged and an expensive wool rug was torn. I filed an insurance claim. Now, 5 months later I have been given a verbal run-around and now can’t get the owner to call me back. He promises via text that he “will call tomorrow”. It never happens. I will not use them again and will not recommend them.

Update #2. I finally heard from the owner and after some deliberation, I was given an insurance adjustment…and an apology for the delay.
