FlatRate Moving

Flat Rate Moving is excellent. I’ve used them twice, a decade apart. Efficient, fast, no surprise charges.

Do NOT use these movers. Terrible service from day one, it’s no wonder they only accept cash or money order. Took over a week to get our stuff and then, movers weren’t able to get our couch in our apartment. They left it up to us to figure it out. No discount or apologies given. Spare yourself the pain and money lost, go with another company.

I did a large one bedroom apt LA to NY move with relatively no problems. The customer service agent I worked with named Monica was patient with me while explaining all the steps to the process and helping to account for all of the items I needed to move. She got back to me quickly when I had questions and promptly confirmed changes I had to make to my moving plan more than once. The movers on either end of the trip were respectful and professional. The ones on the LA side only spoke Spanish, which wasn't a problem for me but might be for some who aren't bilingual. Either way, they were pleasant and worked quickly. I'm glad I went with FlatRate as everything showed up and nothing was broken #Amen.
