John and Frankie have been awesome. If I need this service again, these are the people I would call. Thanks
I’ve been meaning to write this review since early October but life got in the way. Nonetheless, I couldn’t end the year without posting about the amazing experience I had with Flex moving and storage. Lawrence and Trey (Boynton Beach Location) were absolutely amazing. Not only were they fast and efficient but they handled all my items with care. What totally blew me away was how kind they were. I am a “get in and help” kind of person and they refused to have me lift a finger. This tired momma appreciated that more thank these kings will ever know. Do not hesitate to use this wonderful company.
*** Edit. They broke all my furniture on 10/28/2024. It took them until now, 1/15/2025, to get me a resolution. Proceed with caution.
(10/28/2024)
I cannot say enough bad things about this company. They sent the worst crew possible to load my house. These guys took over 5 hours to load 3 rooms and some boxes (no couch, no dining table, no living room). They spent the vast majority of the time smoking cigarettes, texting on their phones, and arguing with each other. The would work 1 at a time while the other 2 would stand outside. Keep in mind, flex charged me $180 an hour to have these guys use my house like an ashtray for 5 hours. By hour 5 they were all just standing around doing nothing. One of them was just in the house staring at the last piece of furniture, literally just standing there for almost an hour. I ended up loading the last bit of furniture myself, while they watched me.
Fast forward, as we're leaving i ask them what time they'll be to the drop off location, the guys tells me 'Don't ask me, I'm just the driver'. This is the same guy who was arguing with the crew earlier in the day that he was in charge and they had to listen to him. We get to our drop off location and the trailer never arrives. This trailer is full of our clothes, medications, medical equipment, my babies food/ diapers/ clothing etc. We spent our first night at our new house sleeping on the floor in dirty clothes.
When the trailer finally gets open it turns out half our furniture is broken. My office desk ($400), my daughters bed frame ($300), my infant sons crib ($300), and all the cushions from my patio furniture were missing ($650). As time has gone on we've realized quite a few things never made it to our new house. We're missing clothing, kitchen appliances, etc.
All this happened on October 28th 2024. They finally called me THREE WEEKS later to address my complaint and i was offered $200. I paid over 2k for this move, just to have over 1k of my furntiture broken by the worst possible crew who took 5 hours to do 2 hours of work. Its now December 13th and they still have not resolved this, and my daughter is still sleeping on a mattress on the floor, i still dont have an office desk, and my baby is still sleeping in a pack and play, i still dont have cushions on my outdoor furniture, and i still paid almost 1k for 3 guys to stand around and chain smoke newports. WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO REPLACE MY FURNITURE THAT YOU BROKE????
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE
Tay and John were extremely efficient and organized with moving the furniture. They were also extremely personable to be helping me out on a cold Saturday morning.
Bernard Neal and Mario Cooper Did an exceptional job
