At 58 years of age I gotta say Fortson Moving was by far the best experience I’ve ever had and I’ve moved plenty in my time! These men worked tirelessly, FAST, and were careful with every piece like it was their very own. They were incredibly polite, and utilized every inch of space in my storage facility. Don’t be fooled! Professional packing is a serious skill, and these folks are PROS. Don’t settle for less if you appreciate your belongings. I have never seen anything quite like it. These are good quality people top to bottom. You just know the difference when you see it! I will never forget how well i was treated during such a super stressful time. Hired this company to move me from Mobile, AL to Gulf Shores, AL since they were going to be in the area. They did their job and did not break anything, which I'm thankful for. Three movers with a truck were booked and that helped tremendously! They worked hard getting my things out of storage, loading them onto the truck, driving my items over to my new residence, and unloading. They did go a completely different route than what I expected, but in the end, it helped them from getting stuck in traffic. I spoke with April initially to set up the move, she gave me a quote over the phone, and I was able to book my move. Unfortunately, I had zero idea where my movers were until I got a call 15 minutes after the initial time I agreed on them arriving to be told that it would be approximately another 45 minutes until their arrival. When they arrived, they informed me of their late arrival in town the night prior, which I understood completely. I'm glad the crew told me, but I really would have liked to know when I was told they were going to be late. This moving company did not provide any type of quote on paper, only over the phone. I didn't sign any paperwork until after the move had been completed, which I thought was unusual. The other moving companies I've used in the past have been able to provide a quote on paper. At the end, they had me check the truck, I peered in and thought they had unloaded everything. They forgot a crucial part of my bed frame and 1 other very small item on the truck, which I didn't get until a few days later. This moving company did successfully move my items. I understand things happen, but the process could have gone a bit smoother. Also, the price I paid for the actual move was a little ways off from the quote. I know it is called a quote for a reason, as the final amount can't be predicted. A $100 tip was added to the price of the move since the crew worked hard in the heat and didn't break anything.

Fortson did an excellent job. They were on time, very professional, did exactly what was needed, & took extra precaution to jot damage anything. I would highly recommend them for any of your future moves.
