Fresh Start Movers

I usually do not leave bad reviews. They did move my furniture without damaging. However, I am not pleased with their service. For example: they set up a bed and the headboard was a little taller than the last. There was a picture on the wall. Instead of asking if I wanted to take it down they left enough room about 2 feet from the wall for me to get it. So now I have to get someone to move the bed to the wall. I didn’t realize the situation.The recliner which could have been moved in one piece was moved in two pieces. It is sitting unassembled in my den. Near the end of the move, I heard one of them say, “We need to hurry to get the truck back (a UHaul) and I have to get to work.

I was very disappointed with the moving services I received. The movers cracked holes and put scuff marks on the walls while moving my furniture upstairs in my home. My home was freshly painted. The owner promised to fix the damaged walls but he never did. I reached out to the owner by phone to discuss a time and date to settle the issue but he never returned my phone calls. To add insult to injury, the movers slid my dresser sideways with NO BLANKETS on the furniture. I had to stop the movers to tell them to put a blanket on my furniture. I do not recommend using their services.

Very disappointing experience. Had a pleasant initial conversation with Jeremy and we scoped out a move and budget and he promised to e-mail the confirming quote that evening. Never sent it, and on my subsequent followup calls never answered the phone or returned my VM messages. Left me in a bind scrambling for an alternate plan to move my daughter. No thanks - my future business will go elsewhere.

Jeremy and his team made our family's move such an easy process! We moved from a smaller space to a larger space but we have lots of bulky, heavy furniture. They handled everything with ease and went above and beyond in their service - they were professional and kind as well as knowledgeable and efficient every step of the way. From getting a quote to moving day itself, working with them has been a breeze. I couldn't be more thankful that we hired Fresh Start Movers to handle our move - we found the right people for the job and I will absolutely be hiring them for any future moving needs.
