the guys were AMAZING - the best possible moving experience i have ever had or could ask for- would highly recommend

We were relocating from CT to IL Ashley was friendly and straight forward about the process and we gave detailed information of what we were wanting to have shipped on a truck and stored which original price included 30 days of storage, until we were able to get a new place. We were quoted a price for our items. The truck shows up without loading tells us it’s going to be 1500.00 more than we were quoted! We didn’t see the stuff on the truck to determine if we went over that much. Fast toward 5 days when I call and spoke to Ashley about the over charge mind you we’re were not not going to pay just seemed to be a lot more than quoted, next day we get a call stating our items were on a truck for IL where are they taking it, we were not even in IL yet, apparently there was a mix up that their warehouse and they loaded our stuff on a truck without verifying with us it was to be taking out of their storage, then they say we have to find and pay for storage which was included in our price of 1150 plus 575 deposit other 1150 due at the delivery PLUS now 1500. So I go back and forth with them and they put our stuff in a storage unit until we were moved. Items picked up dec 1 2024 loaded and put in IN dec 7th so we move and we’re moving into our house Feb 1 I call in beginning of January to let them know when we would need our stuff delivered well they didnt we had to pay all the money and go rent a truck and pick our items up and load and bring to our new house! Not part of the agreement but they wanted to hit us with 1200 dollars more for storage in a state we didn’t asked to be taking to and we would have to pay another 1200 to wait for them to get a truck from NJ to IL 2 more months and on top of it when we arrived at the unit our brand new furniture was stored like this picture included NOTHING was wrapped still and left like this and when I got the call after we paid I was told everything was still wrapped clearly it wasn’t: we paid 400 dollars for boxes and bubble wrap and wrapped things ourselves and they took it all off leather couches have scratch and gouges foot prints on our furniture and we are missing stuff they cannot find! 2900 dollars turns into 4400 dollars and we had to move it out ourselves and damaged and lost items!! Be ware when using them or any moving company contract doesn’t mean anything with them and if we hadn’t paid we would have never got our brand new furniture back!! Will NEVER use them or any other moving company affiliated with them!!!
