From my initial call to the conclusion of the move out today (our things are being stored for a few months), absolutely everyone was pleasant and efficient. These qualities alone go a long way to reducing the stress of moving. However, it doesn't end there. The team of 5 that did the move today couldn't have been more pleasant. Thoughtful, careful, efficient and upbeat. Zero complaints despite an awful lot of stairs to deal with as well as many awkward and many heavy items. Every guy carried the maximum that they could rather than make multiple trips with a single item - this despite the significant weight of the items in question. They also moved rapidly i.e nobody strolled or took their time. Honestly, it was impressive. The speed and efficiency of the movers is relevant as it saves one money given that the billing is hourly. They also made decisions (after checking with us) to avoid certain more expensive and unnecessary ways to pack/protect and store certain items. This definitely saves money and does not in any way result in an inferior outcome. Lastly, the price range estimate was very accurate and due to the efficiency of the team our final cost was below the lower range of the estimate!! Not something one sees too often. All in all, I highly recommend Gentle Giant and I will certainly use them again (and plan to when we do this move in reverse in a few months).

The movers said each day they would show up between 8 and 8:30, and then appeared at 8:05-8:10 consistently. I was moving my parents and having to coordinate a lot of different events; being able to rely on them kept everything moving along wonderfully and without difficulty. The movers were friendly, communicative, and open to adjustments when it came to what was moving where. Difficult as moves are, this was a positive experience.

If there were an Olympic event for vertically launching a couch from the ground, flipping it backwards over a second story porch railing and then sticking the landing with a twist, they would win the gold! Thank you GG!

My experience with Gentle Giant was amazing from beginning to end! Great customer service over the phone, continued communication via email. Whole process was very organized down to the confirmation with Movers. Everything was done in a timely manner! Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to move.
