Great experience. Very efficient. Wrapped our furniture with blankets and provided good care to all our items. Will plan to use again for our next move.

I had a great experience with Gentle Giant and the team who moved me - Zach, Andre and Eric. The guys were on time, professional and great to work with. I was especially impressed with how they handled parking on Capitol Hill! About a quarter of my stuff was going to storage at Gentle Giant and the guys were great at clarifying. They took such pains to wrap Every. Single. Thing. They went above and beyond to get my W/D out with my narrow doors!!

I highly recommend using Gentle Giant - especially if you need storage too. Makes it SO much easier!! I’ll definitely use them again in the future!

UPDATE (2023): After years of searching, we finally bought a house. After my previous experience with Gentle Giant, I did not hesitate to call again.

I have to give massive credit to these folks. Without even realizing it, I had booked them for the Saturday of Easter weekend. And once again, they knocked it out of the park. Even better than the first time! Between the time they arrived at our old place, transported our things to the new, and wrapped up their work, the time was roughly only 3.5 hours. That is STUNNING! On top of that, they were quick, professional, and very friendly. I absolutely loved talking with both Donny and Ricky. I am now thoroughly convinced that Gentle Giant only hires the very best, and Donny and Ricky only reinforced that. Both are amazing individuals, and I'm so glad they were the ones to conduct the move. I'd swear that both have superhuman strength.

Once again, thank you SO MUCH, Gentle Giant, for being extremely accommodating and for providing such a fantastic experience. I will continue to recommend you to all my friends and family!

Initial Review (2021): The TL:DR version of this is simple. Gentle Giant is a company you absolutely SHOULD HIRE for your moving needs!

Now the longer version. I worked with the expertise of Ryan, Zack, and Dex. All three of these gentlemen were both very professional and personable. This is a difficult balance to strike when it comes to the field of the customer service, but all three of these amazing men nailed it. Ryan called me when they were on there way and again when they were about five minutes out. We were still in the process of packing when they arrived, but it didn't discourage them. They helped out and got everything out of our old apartment in a timely manner. When we arrived at our new place roughly 100 miles away, everything was delivered in pristine condition. We were originally told this type of move couldn't be pulled off in a single day, but these three gentlemen did it. All while keeping a positive attitude the entire time. All this at half the price it cost us to move the last time around with 10x the care and quality.

To sum it up, if you aren't hiring the services of Gentle Giant for all of your moving needs, you're doing it wrong. If we ever need to move again, they will be the first call I make. Wonderful, hardworking staff. Great personalities, and extreme professionalism. 5 stars all the way!
