I am beyond pleased with David and Pedro who moved the contents of my home.The way that they took such excellent care of all the contents in their truck, going above and beyond with preparation. This company will charge you an exorbitant cost for a single move, without even giving you a pricing quote. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
1. I moved from Boston to NY and they charged me a whooping amount. They would send you extremely expensive items without your consent and asked you to pay for it (i.e. six wardrobe boxes would cost you $300). They would also include a lot of hidden fees (sorry but what is a $700 NYC security fee and access fee?) You will only be shocked by these extra expenses when you look at the receipt.
2. The moving date and time. I requested to move on a specific date, but they did not want to agree with such a basic request. Even when it's two weeks before my moving, they still said they would not know if they would be free that date. They also would not give me a specific time (i.e. 9 am) for moving. So I need to wait at home the whole day for their service to come.
3. No price quote or receipt. The rep did not give me any pricing quote before the move. After the move, she did not give me any receipt. I had to write several follow up emails to get a receipt of my moving.
4. The customer service representative was extremely unresponsive and rude. She was not looking at any of my emails, and insisted on calling me when I was at work or at school. She also got my name wrong in most of her phone calls and emails to me, which I felt very offended.
I do not think their service matches 1% of their price. Would not recommend at all. My friends and I who used their service feel that this is almost a scam.
There is not enough wonderful things I can say about this moving company. Matt is a perfect gentleman as is his crew. All of the movers handled our boxes with care, they were extra careful with our family heirlooms. I highly recommend this company.

Get Moving USA brought the wrong pieces on our initial delivery date, wasting our time on the first scheduled delivery day and inconveniencing my husband to have to schedule and wait around for a second delivery.
The movers did not call ahead to let us know when to expect them when they came back and demanded an additional $125 as a 'walkup fee' since the sofa didn't fit in the elevator. I'm sorry, but if I'm paying $600 for movers, the expectation is that you deliver the item whether it be by elevator or stairs.
Payment is cash or Venmo only, presumably so you have no recourse with a credit card chargeback when they conduct their shady business.
Do business with literally anyone else.
