My first moving perfect . But my second one they give me a price them they increase the bill by $400. They send only two guys and she say 4 . 2 guys no good for a moving they guy they send was taking forever . The esperience was not good for one bedroom apt and not to many items . They send 2 guys to take longer and increase price not honest .

I needed a moving company to get me from NJ to PA, and Global 1 movers was professional from beginning to end. It was very simple to make a reservation over the phone and they were available for any questions I had about the moving process. They showed up on time and got right to work. The two men who came to move my stuff were quick but careful, making sure the furniture was well protected but still keeping track of time. This was important to me since it was considered a local move and they were paid by the hour. They didn't take breaks or even stop for lunch when i offered it, they preferred to keep working diligently until everything was finished. I was blown away by their professionalism. The only caveat I would add would be that they quoted $950 on the phone, but arrived with a different quote that was closer to the real total, but when I pointed this out they worked hard to meet my expectations. It only cost me about $1250 in the end, which was more than expected but around what this move would cost anyway. Most of the extra cost was simply because they charge for the materials used to protect the furniture, which can add up. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to move.

A complete debacle. I moved from NYC to LA and my belongings didn't end up getting to my residence within the 21 day threshold that is spelled out in the contract. I advised Global 1 movers of my new address on 8/3, and the truck didn't arrive until 12 am on 8/26. The entire experience was such a mess. Limited communication with the company after initial sale and down payment. It was tough getting accurate information and periodic updates from Eric and his team.
