Do NOT use this moving service. These people are crooks.

1. The customer service was terrible. They refused to answer phone calls after getting the deposit

2. They made us move our moving date with just three days notice. Their excuse was that it was their brother's wedding. For which they apparently only had three days notice...

3. Move was scheduled for 8am. They arrived at 9.

4. Once we were close to our destination, the driver unecessarily drove around the block several times to waste time.

5. We specifically requested no packing materials. Without asking, they wrapped up several items and then charged us for them.

6. Quoted estimate was $280. Final cost after some creative accounting was $440. My big mistake was that I didn't remember the $50 deposit we had already given them. They happily pocketed that as well. So the total was nearly twice the 'estimate'.

7. Moved very slowly on purpose. Two grown men picked up and moved a small AC that I easily picked up and installed myself

8. Supervisor was incredibly rude. He did nothing to help and then showed up with a contract that was allegedly unalterable with lots of creative accounting. Acted like he was doing us a favor by moving on that day, despite them selecting the day after rescheduling on us.

Global 1 were a tremendous help when we were moving out. the whole process was fast and painless. The team was careful with our things and the price was good. Overall- excellent!
