Glorified Movers

Paid more than $275 up front for an apartment move to storage, and they never showed up, never answered the phone. That forced us to locate some unaffiliated men who were available and more than willing to take up the job... and they got the money!! Fortunately, the upfront money was paid to uHaul, and it was speedily refunded. Forget about this 'Glorified' company!

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS! This company confirmed our move multiple times and even 45 minutes before they were to show and never showed! They then stopped answering their phone and tried to keep our money. These guys are thieves! Terrible experience.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The company charged and did not show for the job. I confirmed the job the morning of and at the time texted and called with no answer. Owner finally answered Monday morning, when called from an outside number and pretended to look for the order, then proceeded to hang up and block the number. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU WANT SOMEONE TO ACTUALLY SHOW UP AND DO THE JOB!!!!

They showed up with 4 guys (we were expecting the usual 2) and got on it quicker than I’ve ever seen a crew move! While the owner of Glorified Movers walked around the house with us sizing up our stuff, listening to special requests, and addressing any concerns, the other 3 were moving fast but carefully. We had a particularly heavy piece of furniture that was also prone to breaking or scratches. Without being asked, the owner instructed his crew to wrap it completely before they even touched it and with it completely protected, they moved it gingerly into the truck. We were truly impressed. We expected 4 hours of work and they finished in less than 2. The owner communicated with us clearly from start to finish. I’ve never seen such a professional, quick, but careful team of young men. Excellent job!! We’ll be using them for any and every move in the future!

The gentlemen who assisted with our moving was very professional, organized and respectful. We scheduled a 9:30- 10:30 slot and although traffic set them back about 30 minutes, they arrive ready to work! Within the 2 hours of the allotted time and walking up and down 3 flights of stairs, the did not miss a beat. I was extremely please with the organization of the u-haul when they were done.
