Review:

I used this company to have a refrigerator delivered to the business I work for. I called them last minute and they were able to show up within 2 hours right when the fridge was brought to our parking lot. Austin, Ryan, and Gudberto were extremely kind and helpful!
They unloaded the fridge, brought it inside, placed it where we needed it, and installed the shelving! Additionally, they helped me move other display cases to make space for the fridge.
When my payment method wasn't working, John was extremely helpful and friendly over the phone as I sorted everything out. We will definitely be using this company again!!! Thank you!

I had a great experience with the 2 guys that came out. It was a really simple job to move a chair out and to the transfer center. They took it and loaded it up no issue. They did give me the incorrect rate from what I agreed with on the phone, but I explained the agreement and there wasn’t a problem.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. My experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish.

Initially, I was quoted a flat rate for my move, regardless of the time it would take. I clearly outlined that I had a bed, dresser, living room couch, and a small table, and my apartment is a mere 500 square feet. However, when the moving day arrived, I was met with two young movers who showed up empty-handed—no moving supplies, no dollies, nothing to assist in the process.

After about three hours of chaos, I received a call from the 'manager' who kicked off the conversation with, “How are you planning to pay?”—no greeting, no courtesy. When I pointed out how unprofessional his approach was, he dismissively claimed that as a manager, he didn’t need to worry about customer service. Quite the contrary, I assured him; quality customer service is precisely what is expected from management.

As if that weren’t enough, he informed me that an additional $100 would be added to my bill due to the time it was taking. I reminded him of our original agreement and the flat-rate quote, which I had in writing. The delay was entirely due to his team arriving unprepared. When I pressed him, he made it clear that if I didn’t want to pay the extra fee, he would simply instruct the movers to unload my belongings. His rudeness was astounding, and the employees on-site even expressed their frustration with his treatment of them.

To add insult to injury, when I asked why they had no supplies, they informed me that the other movers had taken everything. As if that wasn’t enough, they left my headboard at the apartment, meaning I now have to pay someone else to retrieve it and deliver it to my storage facility.

Despite this awful experience, I still paid the bill and tipped the movers. I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others: do not waste your hard-earned money on this company. It will only add to the stress of moving, and you’ll find yourself with a headache you didn’t sign up for. Save yourself the trouble—look elsewhere!

I’m sharing this to help others avoid making the same mistake I did when hiring an incapable contractor.

I posted on Thumbtack looking for someone to paint two rooms, specifying that I already had enough paint for the job. I received several responses and chose a company that appeared reputable, had decent ratings, and matched my schedule. After texting them photos and explaining the scope of the work—painting and fixing drywall (damaged from electrical work and behind some paintings)—they assured me they understood the project. Below is the text conversation (excluding photos).

The Experience:
On the scheduled day, three people arrived: one who seemed clueless, one claiming to be a 'field manager,' and a polite but passive team member who just followed instructions. They brought one inadequate patch kit—not professional, nor sufficient for the job.

It quickly became clear that none of them had experience patching drywall. The 'manager' tried applying some compound to the wall but soon left to buy more supplies, leaving the two others idle for over an hour. When he returned, their attempts to patch the wall failed repeatedly due to a lack of skill.

The 'field manager' then insisted I pay for the materials, and when I asked for receipts, he charged me $100 extra and took the unused materials with him!& never showed the receipts to me.They didn’t even sand the patches, let alone paint. They left the walls in worse condition than before.

Other issues:
No cleaning up after themselves.
No PPE.
Carelessly left equipment on uncovered furniture.

The only positive takeaway is that they’re now out of my house. I wouldn't trust them for any job and hope no one else has to go through such a frustrating experience.

Conversation:

Me: To be clear, these are areas that need to be fixed and repainted. I honestly don’t need the whole room painted, as long as these areas are covered and not an eyesore. (Attached six photos.)

Greenhaulerz Response: GOT IT. WE GUARANTEE THE LOWEST RATE. Just a patch wall or the whole wall painting?

Me: If you can patch it nicely, just patching would make me happy, as long as it’s not an eyesore.
This is the paint: Sherwin Williams SW 9581 Cotton from the Emerald Series.

Greenhaulerz: $249.

Me: When can you be here?

Greenhaulerz: What days are you available?

Me: Sunday or Monday would be perfect. I work from home the rest of the week, so it depends on how long it takes.

Greenhaulerz: Okay, Monday at 11 AM.

Me: Perfect. Monday, December 16th, 11 AM. How long will it take?

Greenhaulerz: 4-6 hours or less. Appointment confirmed #43840S2.

Me: Perfect. See you on the 16th. Please arrive on time (+/- 15 minutes is fine). Also, please provide the name and phone number of the person or team coming, and let me know what payment methods you accept (cash, check, or card).

Greenhaulerz: Will do. Whatever works.

Monday Morning:
Greenhaulerz: Do you have wall patch material?

Me: No, I only have paint.

Unfortunately, this was a textbook case of poor communication, lack of preparation, and complete unprofessionalism. Learn from my mistake: do your research thoroughly, ask detailed questions, and confirm qualifications before hiring anyone.

I had a terrible experience with Go Green Haulers, and I strongly discourage anyone from using their services. At first they were very responsive while setting up the job which is why I chose them to begin with. The move was for a swim spa and they reassured me they would be able to do the job and have the correct number of people. Unfortunately, on the day of the scheduled job, they were completely unresponsive—no calls, no updates, and when they did show up they were an hour and a half late. They showed up with half of the crew that was hired to do the job and with a trailer half the size that was needed. Additionally, the crew they sent there had a worker who was clearly under the influence and a “job manager” who would not converse with me and avoided any responsibilities. After several attempts to contact a manager/office they finally agreed to reschedule and reassured me they could get the job done the following Monday.

On the rescheduled day I messaged the manager to confirm the job with no response. I repeatedly attempted to contact the company with no answer going straight to voicemail. After this my girlfriend tried calling and they answered which shows my number was blocked. When they did answer they were vague in their answers and eventually stopped responding to my girlfriend’s calls as well. They never showed up to the job and we have not heard from them since.

Go Green Haulers' lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to follow through made this one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. I would give them zero stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. I will be reporting this “company” to the Better Business Bureau.
