I'm editing my below review, and adding 3 stars, previously 1 star. The manager called me personally, she was very sweet and apologetic, giving me a boost with my account. It was unexpected but very appreciated. I guess I'm just frustrated in general because all of a sudden the previous owners were gone overnight without so much as a thank you to all the customers who trusted us to keep things that were precious to them safe and dry. A lot of you became friends and then some became like family. (They could've asked me to help with that email, that beginning sounded pretty good lol). Then the new corporation sent a very vague email that they were the new owners. There was no information regarding our units, telling us what will be or not to be (see I'm a regular Shakespeare lol) Are our entry codes staying the same? Are they keeping the locks issued by the previous owners or will they be issuing us new ones? More importantly, were our fees going up and what is that covering if they were? There was no information on the website at first either. (I'll be honest, I hadn't looked since). That's on corporate, that should've been on the initial email.
Also will you be creating an app in the future that will also have all that info and payments can be made through that and we can see our accounts since I'm sure different facilities might have different prices based on the economic situation of that state? I'm leaving 1 star off because as we all know, poop flows down the corporate ladder, from the big guys on top making the big bucks and bonuses, hitting everyone on the way down until it lands on those hard working people who are the bread and butter of the company. I hope you're paying them what they're worth! Especially the Crossville manager and office staff!!
I was a customer before Go Store It. So my fee went up, they don't answer emails then they call me to ask if I have moved out. No I have not. So somehow I'm moved out in the system and they didn't collect payment for my unit. Thank goodness it's only 1 month but c'mon. I think it's time to see what else is out there.
These people are thieves. One month you'll pay a low/normal price then the next month you get triple charged. Then, I moved out on the 3 or so and I paid on the first. They had nothing to say other than it was prorated even though your invoice says you paid for 30 day! Stay away!!!!!
They lied! Of course, it never reached out. Nor was anything prorated. They kept the entire months rent. I only paid because I'm an honest person and pay my bills on time. I had even called explaining that I would be moving within the week. They advised me to pay 'just in case' and just stole my money. You will regret renting from these people!
