Golden Glove Movers

This place definitely robbed us!!! My family and I were moving out of a 2 bedroom apartment, we contacted this company and they gave the best price out of everyone else. We spoke about how much we had and came to an agreement about the price. The day of the move they up the price on us for a couple extra small boxes, which the movers packed and said we took up more space in the truck than what we agreed upon. My family could have fit those items in the car they were moving with, but the movers were saying that everything is packed up and they would charge us more if they had to unload some of the things that was already placed in the truck, they also seem to be in a rush to leave. They even forgot the contract that was signed on the kitchen counter and I had to rush outside to give them the form. When I saw them it looked like they were celebrating, which I thought was odd. After they left I realized that the family emergency fund we had saved in a jar under the twin bed was gone! When all the stuff was delivered to the new house I checked all the boxes, but the jar that contained around $700 was gone. I contacted the company about this, I was told that they know nothing about this and stopped responding to my phone call regarding this matter. This was very frustrating and upsetting, losing $700 in this economy was devastating to me and my family. I now see why the movers were such in a rush to leave and were celebrating outside my home. They were going to get paid for the job and split MY emergency funds amongst themselves…double pay day I guess. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

These gentlemen made relocating from the suburbs to the city simple. They were well-organized and on time. My furniture was meticulously covered before being securely loaded into the car. They worked efficiently and with joy. They unloaded and arranged everything at my new house. Simply the best.

Their movers carefully packed everything and neatly labeled boxes with our fragile belongings. Everything arrived in perfect shape, and the relocation proceeded without a hitch. Recommended!

The group leader streamlined the procedure by using various packing and arranging tactics. They also helped arrange items in the new apartment.
