Jacob, and the other 2 movers were excellent. Extremely polite, thorough and thoughtful in the care of my furnishings. Prompt, hardworking got the job done efficiently. I would use them again, if needed.

Everything went well, great attitude and fast. They wrapped everything, almost, to keep it safe from getting damaged. The only negative I have is them being late by an hour and a half. Other then that, they are awesome! Great group of guys. So schedule yourself according to them possibly being late but maybe they'll fix that next time. They did apologize and I get it, life happens and your little bit late.

Moving to a new location is so stressful for us. To me, this is such a nightmare when dealing with this company!

Recently, in August 2023, I move from Pennsylvania to Florida. Since I have no experiences with this service, I checked on Google for the 10 best moving companies. Then I chose the National Moving Service company with perfect feedbacks/points from prior customers. Unfortunately, this is only a broker who wants to get profit from customers by giving you a very reasonable quote and asks you to make decision right away.

Since the broker goal is to earn benefits, it sells your service to a low grade moving company. Unluckily for me to get this Good Friends Movers in New York.

I don't mind about the moving cost because I have paid for what they asked for ($8,098.00) with the cash tips directly for the drivers and workers. But the main reason which makes me upset is as follows:

1/- This company does not have coverage for customer's mechandises. If you pack by yourself they won't have the resposibilities for damages. My assets have broken about 20% of the total packages.

2/- The workers work in an unprofessional manner that can cause damage to your assets. Even though, I still gave them tips after each loading and unloading.

3/- For the last payment they separately charged me the $300.00 fee for credit card payment. To avoid this charge they asked me to pay cash only. Since at that period I was so busy and having a lot of stressful things to solve, I did not check their calculations (this is my overtruth on them) resulted in overpayment for the last/cash payment $346.00 due to their wrong caculations. I e-mail them about this overpayment but they did not respond directly to my request for refunding. They also taught me such as: 'keep in mind that our service is ..... bla, bla bla . . . '

By depending on my own experiences, I would like to advice you for moving:

1/- Never choose a broker when moving. You should directly work with a local moving service company with their offices in your area.

2/- Do not trust the Google reviews for services

3/- Ask for coverages to your lost or damages.

4/- Last but not least: please avoid this poor moving company.

Hope that my above review is helpful for other customers without experiences like me.

Can’t say enough about Tahj and Coby, my movers. Wonderful, personable, hard-working guys. They loaded furniture from one location, carefully packed the truck and had to bring the furniture to two separate places. They did so happily and carefully.

James - who managed the whole show - was very professional and responsive.

Great people, great work, at a great price. Very happy with our experience.
