GoodFriend Self-Storage Bedford Hills

Good Friend Storage in Bedford Hills is a fantastic location. It’s a new facility. Very clean! Many different sized units to fit your needs. The staff are awesome and of course very friendly!

New facility, very clean and excellent layout (Bedford Hills). Mr. John Hickey was especially helpful and with his insights and attention to detail, made the processing clear and efficient.

I'm editing my review one more and hopefully final time. I've increased this to 4 stars. I now have 2 units in this place. It's a brand new location, it's definitely climate controlled and maybe even a tad chilly so anything you keep in here should be fine. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The bays are large, large enough for a full-size truck to back into one of them. I don't remember the dimensions of the elevators but they are fairly large. I have 2 very large pieces of furniture (8 feet tall, one is maybe a bit more) and they both fit into the elevators. This was a concern of mine before I got the units. Access is 7am to 7pm. It would be nice if it could be a bit later and honestly with code access to the building not sure why it can't be 24x7 but to be fair that seems to be common for storage facilities, that said access till 9pm would be an improvement. I can say that access available even on holidays when the office is closed (I was just there for the 4th of July)

Ok, I am amending my review. Apparently the facility was not open because they were still waiting on permits. If the people I talked to on the phone had told me that or if there had been a sign on the door about that, it would have changed the situation. So what I experienced is not likely to be the situation going forward.

apparently you need appt to see the facility. the office is not open for walkins. when i called they were unable to setup an appt without me making a reservation!? crazy system, i want no part of it
