Just received my items in Germany, we have missing items and $5,000 in damages so far, and mold over a majority of items. The movers here told me that everything was crammed into the crates and should have been in 10-12 crates, but I'm assuming these people pay a certain amount of money per crate, and the less crates they shipped, the more money they keep. So this company crammed everything into 8 crates. Oh yeah, I seriously found my kitchen utensils between boxes to conserve space.
I was the never informed that I was supposed to witness the crates being sealed. They took everything in a moving truck to their warehouse and packed it there. They disassembled everything, and I mean everything. And I have no screws or hardware to put any of it back together. They also used my tools to do the work, and I'm missing tools from my tool box.
I will be contacting Fort Campbell Transportation office every week to make sure they do not let anyone else use this company again.
This company absolutely screwed me on my PCS move. They didn't label anything to correctly describe what is in the boxes on the inventory list. I had 23 Xbox games and they 'packed' them. But when I received my household goods al the games had been taken out of the cases. Which can only mean they took them out of the cases and decided not to put them back. And I can't claim them as missing because they put my games in a box labeled living room.
Super friendly, great experience.
My family's stuff was packed 10 days ago (28 July) and it was supposed to be delivered today (8 Aug), but our stuff is STILL being crated! Apparently, UNIGROUP has been trying to get ahold of them since the 3rd and they haven't returned any of their calls. One of the men that was packing our stuff seemed like it was an inconvenience to him. He packed the stuff with Rita (?) and Patrick, no complaints with the two of them. A lot of the stuff that could've been packed wasn't. We had to take so much with us, it was pretty much a partial DITY move. I really hope the Army thinks twice about hiring this company again to move soldiers.
