Halftime Help

If I could leave 0/5 stars , I would. I used this service 5/5/2024. I signed up for the Spring Clean Up lawn care , and I was charged $225 for three people to be on my lawn for 1 hour. My grass was high, as we had just moved in to the home prior to our last tenants. Either way, seems like a steep price to have your grass mowed and edges not done. They did do some weeding and filled a trash bag 1/4 through. So if one person is mowing for an hour , the other two perhaps pulled weeds for an hour and only managed to pull a few handfuls. I do understand that this is by high school kids, so the pricing model needs to change and so do the customers expectations. I hired them because of their mission but it didn’t work out in terms of lawn care. I can personally fill a trash bag full of weeds in 30 minutes.
After talking to management they were agreeable for me to pay the money versus keeping a return customer , bummer! The caller’s disposition was very poor. After expressing my concerns over the service ($225 for getting your lawn mowed and an handful of weeds pulled), the caller responded by saying “ok” and not much more. Overall, that was the biggest disappointment.
Perspective is that this is the first bad review I’ve ever written in my life.

After a couple of bad experiences with other organizations (Last-minute cancellations, no-shows, etc.) I’m so glad I found Halftime
help. They were excellent at communication, showed up when they said they would, and were kind, professional, and efficient! Not to mention that I love to be supporting a small local business that works with our local youths! I’ll be calling again!

Very professional and conscientious. They are great at communicating their arrival time and respond quickly to messages. Also, the charges for their services are very fair and reasonable.

We have had the best experience working with Half Time Help. They are so responsive and helpful, would highly recommend.
