I purchased a large delicate canvas with non-traditional volume and texture at auction. Seamlessly, they picked it up from the auction house, packaged it, crated it, and shipped to Canada without damage or shipping issues.
There was a bit of a holdup at the border, but The Packaging Store went above and beyond to take control of the situation by switching commercial carriers to ensure safe, timely, and proper handling, along with broker administration and payment.
In terms of packaging, they did an absolutely incredible job, from building multi-layers of reinforced cardboard and tailored foam shell down to the frame, to the crate, and to the specifically built pallet, along with instructive labels posted on all sides.
I had a professional art handler assist in hanging the piece and he was very impressed by the packaging.
