I had to make a last minute move. Staff was very helpful and flexible. Excellent communication. Movers were very nice and professional.

Packing was lousy. Most of the boxes were mislabeled. Many items were broken, computer and tv cables missing along with furniture and bed hardware. They are totally nonresponsive to my emails and phone calls. I have the direct cell number for my rep; when I call it I always get mailbox is full. It proves that the cheapest are not always the best, even though this is a national mover. This has been a very bad experience moving from California to Louisiana. UPDATE- I paid extra for a full cost replacement for damaged items. They sent a local rep out who felt my estimate of $6K was low and increased it to near $10k. They had SIRVA Relocation review the claim. After waiting an additional 2 weeks, they sent me a check for around $2.5K with a very nice “take it or leave it” note saying I had a right to appeal. Among the items that the local rep added was my $4k+ plasma TV that would not function. SIRVA denied this item and said that this was a mechanical problem and not damage from the move and disagreeing with their local rep who physically examined it. I was totally drained from dealing with these clowns and took the loss and chalked this up as a bad learning experience that I will never let happen again. I feel violated and totally ripped off by this experience. If I could change my rating to something less than 1 star I would to keep it from happening to someone else!

I went to the medical equipment lockers! And I found a used Walker that will help me for now! Thankyou! The people in the office were very nice to us!
