I can give nothing but the highest marks to Jimmy Plympton's Heritage Moving & Storage. He is a top notch owner and excels at making sure that every aspect of the move goes effectively. His team consists of 3 dedicated, long time employees who go about their work professionally, get along well with each other, and are adept at interrelating pleasantly with the homeowner. In short, they are hard workers and nice guys. Jimmy has an excellent website that describes his business clearly and establishes that he operates a truly professional business. It's clear from the get-go thatJimmy will travel the extra nine yards to ensure the homeowner's move goes smoothly. For example, he volunteered to return to our house a day later picked up an item that we had forgotten to include in the move. This item was a very heavy mirror on a wall that he took down himself and transported to our new home at no charge. This extra was truly above and beyond the call and exemplifies his dedication to getting the job done right. To top it off, he is very personable, pays attention to the homeower's concerns, and leaves no stones unturned. Had this crew come out to help me unload a truck in Roanoke, VA. Absolutely fantastic! Absolutely seamless experience from setting up all of the details with Jimmy, to the guys who came out to do the heavy lifting! Lots of heavy items that had to be lifted up stairs, no damage to any items or even a scratch on the walls! The guys who came out were super nice, efficient, and a pleasure to move with. They made what’s normally a stressful moving process a cakewalk. 10/10 would recommend, amazing job guys! Thank you so much!

Stay far away from this business. Most unprofessional and rude employees i've ever had the displeasure Of dealing with, they contract out.
So you never know who you're actually getting on the day of your pick up. They will charge you 3 times and on the drop-off date they will Hold your stuff ransom If you cannot pay the thousands of dollars they want in cash which is pretty much extortion. I am certhat this business will have legal issues in the future.

I had the worst experience with this company. They lied about the price and changed it by 2 gs in the end I paid almost 5gs to this moving company. The main guy was rude to both me and my husband then asked to us our restroom when told no he walked away mumbling that he was going to release himself on our property. Rude would NEVER use this company.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Jimmy and his wonderful crew at Heritage Moving and Storage! From the first encounter when I called to get a quote (from Jimmy) to the time they all left our new home, we were treated with nothing less than respect and professionalism.

Heritage was, by far, the most affordable option in the Roanoke area; however, price was not the only reason we chose them. I could tell through early conversations that Jimmy would take great care with our belongings, the crew would work with our dates and schedule, and that it would be as close to a stress-free move as possible!

Our move took two days- one to load our things on two trucks from storage and another to deliver to our new home four hours away. Jimmy and his four men team were careful, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. Our delivery day ended up being rainy (the only stressful part about it!), but the guys going in and out tried hard to be clean and careful on our new carpets. The men worked quickly (a good thing when you pay by the hour) but cautiously. We had not one thing broken or damaged… and we had some heavy pieces! They were also fun to be around and worked very well together!

My family and I enjoyed getting to know everyone and would recommend Heritage to any family member or friend who is planning a move. I wouldn’t want them to have any less than the best! Thank you Jimmy and team!!
