Used them for a move from Georgia to Virginia. Beware the quoted price is not even close to final price. Was quoted for $1605 and after all the fees and surcharges (before tips) paid $2122. There were extra fuel charges that should have been included in quote, charge for elevator, charge for extra distance from truck to door, and fragile items (TV). These should be mentioned when getting quote. Movers left the trash when moving stuff in, and ignored labels that stated what room boxes go in, instead just left all boxes in living room.

The company lost several boxes and delivered someone else's dining chair to our house. They scratched our new floor and broke a TV (only tv we paid them to pack). They lost parts to the bed and didn't assemble it correctly upon delivery.The movers showed up a day before they were supposed to as per the signed contract. When we told them we weren't ready they replied that they'd hate to not be able to move us at all. Waste of $12k. Don't use them.

Heritage did a thorough, high quality, careful move for us to South Carolina. Jimmy was always prompt with advice, detail about the move and providing supplies...all at a fair price. The Heritage crew is pleasant and hard-working...they get the job done efficiently and with care. Do not hesitate to use Heritage. I would use them again.

If I could give a negative 100 I would. They were friendly until they got your money then they sent the worst movers ever. When they finally came to get my property they only took certain items. They don't tell you when asking what items you are moving you have to list every little thing. I mean to the point of every single chair, folding or lawn or kitchen chair. Once you tell them what large items they give you a guess of the amount of space you get. They have no idea of what size furniture you have. Then they force your things in the truck so they can get other people things on. They damaged SO MUCH of my furniture, broke legs off thing, took apart furniture then couldn't put it back together because they lost pieces. They broke my sleight bed, kitchen island, futon and an antique console stereo and wanted to give me $177 dollars. If you want your furniture back to you in one piece hire someone else or get a Uhaul.
