Hippo Storage and Moving - West

Moving is soooo stressful. Hippo’s team from my initial contact was nothing but first rate. The teams moving and unloading were courteous, kind and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Top to bottom, as pleasant an experience as we’ve ever had when we’ve moved. Our move date changed several times and they were pleasant and accommodating every single time. The actual packing and moving crew were extremely polite, respectful of our home and possessions and just plain nice. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Well done Jamie, Cris and Ty!

Extremely disappointed with Hippo storage! We rented a climate controlled unit and unfortunately there was a fire that occurred in the lighting fixture directly above our unit. I understand that a fire is out of their control, however I would expect the company to contact the tenants and inform them a dry chemical fire extinguisher was discharged above the units and there was potential for the chemical to fall down through the open ceiling of the storage unit. We only found out when we stopped by to pick up a few items. All of the items, all including electronics, were covered in the chemical Ammonium Phosphate. This chemical can also be an irritant to the respiratory system. Hippo storage is on the expensive end of storage in Camden county, I would look elsewhere if I needed another unit.
