Of all the times I've moved and dealt with moving companies, this was the least stressful move I've ever experienced!

I had plans for a u-haul truck and some moving help to load the truck. But u-haul didn't have updated information and movers were not available. I tried to just cancel movers, not my truck but they cancelled everything. Then I tried to reschedule the truck but there were none available! So I scrambled looking for some moving help. Someone in one of the groups I'm in recommended Hoffman. I called a few but they were the only ones available in such short notice. They were polite and professional and sweet to my kids. They gave me one flat rate and that was all I paid. No extra fees or surprise added expenses. They took great care packing up and uploading everything. Wouldn't let me buy them lunch. And it was quite frustrating loading up the truck because my fire alarm kept going off. But they had the best attitude and continued to press on.

I researched movers online and Hoffman Transport & Moving was one of the companies I called. Harold came to my home and gave a flat rate quote right then. Other movers I called either wouldn't give me a quote, wouldn't come to the house, or were charging by the hour plus travel time. On moving day, Harold and his team arrived on time and wasted no time loading everything onto their truck. It was the same for unloading at my new home. They were careful with everything, set down floor runners and wrapped all the furniture. The move team was very courteous and very professional. Looking for moving companies and I saw this and remembered my experience 2 years ago. Day of the guy told me it was cash only, I know I specifically asked to be able to pay by card. I had to got to two ATMs to get the money out. The guy didnt want me to talk about how much the job was in front of the workers he had there and they just slammed my stuff in the unit. When I contacted him 3 months later when I was able to take my stuff out of storage and told him about the damage to my couch he told me I was being 'extra'. BEWARE! Do not use this company.

I called Mr. Hoffman after locating his company online to do a local move. He showed up within 24 hours to view our home and provided a flat rate quote immediately. Something rare when most movers typically charge truck fuel charges and hourly rates. His team arrived on the move in date on time and moved very quickly to get everything moved and placed.
