I contacted Mr. Surdell after several other companies were unavailable to help move my parents from DE to MD. He responded almost immediately to my inquiries, and he was flexible on his availability. He answered all my questions and concerns and reassured us we were in good hands. I could not be in DE on moving day and had to rely on other family members to help with the process, but Mr. Surdell stayed in contact with me the entire day. He and his crew arrived at the scheduled time and worked quickly and professionally. Once they got to MD, his team got right to work to unload my parent's belongings. Honest Dollar made a stressful move very easy, and even better was that the pricing was affordable. I would use this company again if I needed to.

Booked my move with Surdell a week in advance and he still failed to show up. He doesn’t even own a truck. Surdell had me rent a truck and he never showed. Avoid the hassle and go with another company.

My only advice is to not hire these guys, they are horrible at what they do. All the pictures are fake they didn’t wrap any of our items. They ruined my couch, my dining table, original Bombay glass, and my bedroom furniture….basically my whole house. The worst part of all of this, they started a yelling match in front of my house at 11pm mind you they were late one hour, and we didn’t even complain. I asked for their insurance information, they didn’t want to provide it. Be careful I made the mistake to trust based on referral from our local storage unit! I’m including the picture of my couch only! They do not deserve one star, they are less than mediocre. I added more photos to just show how much wrapping they did according to his reply down.

Surdell and his crew did a great job! They all hustled and got everything done. They were friendly, respectful and professional. They moved us into a rental until our new home is built, we will definitely be using them again for our next move! Great service!

Surdell and his team were immediately responsive, professional, and charged a reasonable price for the work. I needed last minute assistance with a large-item move and he was able to quickly provide support. I plan to use Surdell again in the future for other projects.
