Absolutely professional experience with these guys , on my last minute same day move I had to get done ! I loved the instant communication and easy online booking experience with house deal movers , plan to hire them again once we move to our newly built home next year.

This is the worse company ever. If you are looking for movers please don't use this company. They will contact you back for your service but when you want to talk to them about anything after the service they won't call you back. The movers that this company sends are creepy and unprofessional. They will force you into tipping them and over charge you on your invoice. They damaged my rental property swore up n down to Jay that they didn't do it. Like I will damage my rental property for no reason. My confirmation was 2 men and a truck these people sent another men with out my knowledge. Quoted me for 459 but charged me 605 and they got done 30 mins early. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

We hired House Deal Movers LLC to move us from our little Minneapolis apartment to our new place in the suburbs. Our place in the city was on the top floor with no elevator. This is not ideal for movers but they never groaned once and got the job done efficiently and professionally. The movers were personable, the price is BY FAR the best in the market and we are very pleased the service we were provided. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

The moving team, Vlad and Tee, were great and worked hard. Especially since we moved everything except the heavy boxes and items prior to move day.

Management was terrible. Speaking with a live person takes a long time. I had to wait for a half hour, only to speak with an associate who couldn't verify my appointment and had to wait for a manager to call back.

When the manager finally called, he stated I owed another $130 because we were 11 Miles away from their location (somewhere around 94 and Maple Grove Parkway). This was misleading in two ways:

1. The groupon stated within 10 miles of a zip code not an address.

2. Their listed address was 9.2 miles away. They use an unlisted address to determine mileage.

When asked about this, the manager sat in silence and had to be asked again, to which he said: 'if you want to cancel, Groupon is usually good about it'.

This was the worst moving experiences I have had.
I moved from a relatively small 2 bedroom apartment to a new home 10 miles away. 3 movers came and took over 10 hours. They moved so unbelievably slow and charge by the hour. A 500-600 dollar job turned into over $1000. At some point towards the end of the day, the 3 movers got into their truck to start driving away- I was confused because I knew none of my bedroom furniture was set up yet. I had to basically stop them from leaving to ask if they were going to finish the job. After a long battle/discussion and another $250, I got them to agree to finish putting my furniture back together. Also- this company will not move items if they feel it’s too heavy. I have an elliptical machine that they refused to move into my house.So I had to hire a second company who sent two employees that were able to move no problem. To top everything off- my Apple AirPods were stolen during the move. The GPS feature has been disabled to confirm my accusations. I’ll never use house deal movers again.

Edit: it has been a few weeks since the owners told me they would “make it right”. I have not received any response nor any refund for theft of my property/ or reimbursement for the awful experience. This company is a complete scam.
