*DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY* I don't recommend their services. I was quoted a certain price and a certain time for the job..however, the job ending up taking double the time they said and they charged me double the price. They sent 3 workers with one of them clearly being a complete amateur. It felt like even the other 2 guys barely wanted to work with him. My point is - if a job is taking too long then you need to bring in more people not just double the price on the customer. They were supposed to get everything out of a finite area and they couldn't even do that correctly. Hire a different company. This place should be out of buisness

Terrible company! Avoid! Lied about updating quote. Doesn't respond to communications. Didn't show up on the scheduled move date. First, I had to repeatedly inquire about setting up a move. I started this contact over 6 weeks before the move and Hoy was so slow to respond they didn't finalize the quote paperwork until only days before the move date. This also gave me no time to switch to a competing company after getting the quote since the move date was so soon. After finally getting the quote it was much higher than I expected (or could afford) and after selling over half of the items on the original quote, Hoy refused to do an updated quote. They assured me a new estimate would be generated when they picked the things up. This never happened and I was charged basically the same amount as the original quote. I was never given an updated quote for the actual cost of transporting the goods until over a week after my things had already been delivered. (+10 days in transport, so around 2 weeks after they picked up). I would never have used Hoy Transfer if I knew the amount was going to be the same figure as the original quote. Next, and most frustrating, Hoy Transfer never showed up on the scheduled move day. I took an entire day off work and was just left hanging. No phone call, no email, nothing. I eventually called the pickup company and they had no record whatsoever of a scheduled pickup. They ended up not showing at all that day and I had to take ANOTHER ENTIRE DAY off work to be there for the pick up. Hoy could have cared less and I was not compensated for my wasted time at all. Hoy was overall very unresponsive to communications. All of these communications each took multiple emails and calls before anyone would respond. Absolutely terrible company! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I was very pleased with my experience, packing and moving a house full of furniture, clothing, kitchen items, etc. The four man crew was polite and efficient. The final cost was less than the original estimate. Andy was very helpful with providing a thorough walk-through and estimate prior to the move.
