Integrity First Movers is anything but. They moved my items on August first and lost a box; I asked for the replacement value of the items in the box only and was told it would be processed because they claimed that all moves were insured against lost or damaged goods when I got their quote. Fast forward to a week later, they refused to provide the refund for the lost goods unless I wrote good reviews for them on Angies List, Yelp, and Google+; they basically blackmailed me into giving good reviews and even after doing as they asked, I still have not gotten a full refund for the items lost even though it has been a full month. They respond immediately if you want a quote, but try calling after the move, your emails and calls will go unanswered. Steer clear of these guys.
I used Integrity First Moving Services for my move on August 3, 2012. This was a long distance move from Cleveland to Toledo. I was nervous at first because I hadn't had great movers previous. The relocation specialist heard all of my concerns and proceeded to set me up with a two man move. The movers arrived the day of the move and they worked hard the entire time. They were friendly and took absolute care for my things. They made the two hour drive without complaint and my things made it to Toledo without any problems.
I hired this company to move our family on 7/19/12. We were estimated it would take 4 hours and cost $412.16. Right off the bat they were almost 3 hours late getting to our house. One of the movers was very kind and professional, while the other, Jay, took long cell phone/ smoke breaks (in the truck with our belongings)! He openly complained about the other mover, yet he was SLOW. It took almost 3 hours for them to load the truck...way too long. We had already moved our 'smalls', so all they had was furniture and some boxes. Finally it was time to go to the new house and I led them in my car. They wanted to stop at Speedway for a Gatorade...on the clock...fine. At Speedway, I was told that the total was going to be well over $700. I was very upset and felt cornered. We got to our new house where I told my husband the issue. He went out to question the movers. Jay was the only one talking (the slow one), and he explained that we had to pay cash or they would take our stuff. We needed our stuff...I have 3 kids who needed a bed. We finally said that we would pay them, but with credit card (so we could dispute later). After going back and forth, the movers got in their truck to drive away. We called the police, who thank goodness showed up instantly, and stopped them at the end of our street. Suddenly, Jay is being handcuffed! He has a weapons warrant out for his arrest! Now I feel the company put my family in danger. Come to find out that Jay was paid under the table, and the only way that he would get paid that day for the job was if he collected cash from us! What a scam...when in doubt never pay cash! They did send another mover to come help unload. Nick and Ethan were both very pleasant and worked hard. They even took an hour off of our time. I understand an estimate is an estimate, but to double an estimate...ridiculous! Put my family in possible danger...unacceptable! Please AVOID this company...it is a scam and very unprofessional! Oh, and they will not call me back, go figure!
The team of movers were very experienced and proficient. These movers worked hard and got the job done well. I was very impressed and would highly recommend using Integrity Moving to anyone.
My experience with Integrity First Moving was awesome. Those guys are very professional and I enjoy how they would move TV's, Sofas, TV Stands and not scratch any walls. I give them 5 stars for job well done.
