The International Sea & Air Shipping team ('International') was helpful, courteous, and effective. Responses were quick. Overseas shipping, in my case household goods and vehicles, is a very, very bureaucratic and expensive proposition. If you choose to do this, i.e., you aren't being relocated by 'corporate,' then it is essential to have a reliable, experienced lead partner with lots of global 'relocation' contacts both in the business and with bureaucrats. International has coordinated and administered my 'household items and vehicles' adventures between SW FL and Switzerland twice. They did an excellent job. Everything arrived as it should, on both continents.

Special mention goes to Ronnie Cohen, operations manager at International. He has got a great service orientation, has a wonderful -- and wonderfully constructive -- let's get it done attitude, goes the extra mile, and will even help you some 2.5 years after business has been conducted. I fortunately was able to find his email address in late January 2019 (our last international move was in August of 2016). I called him because I needed a customs form for FL's DMV. I had kept my 1997 Dodge Intrepid off the road since it came back from Switzerland in August 2016 together with my 1997 Dodge Dakota (yes, they managed two cars and household effects very well, which shows great administration and great partners -- both are vital). My local Bonita Springs DMV put up roadblocks when I wanted to get the car back on the road. Form 7501 was needed, and an inspection was needed, and lots of money would have to be paid. Well, thanks to Ronnie and his fine team (included Jeanine Berrios and Avi Atary), I immediately had Form 7501 that I had lost to work with, over 2.5 years later (did I say they keep good records?).

Things then went from ugly to good to great, and my 'wheels' were back on SW FL streets within about a week, also thanks to FL bureaucrats that actually helped me to do an end run around administrative insanity!

To close, I couldn't be more pleased with Ronnie, his team, and that part of International that I was involved with; they made an expensive, complicated, bureaucratic 'undertaking' possible for a private person not being 'taken care of by corporate.'

P.S. -- One word of caution: if you do ship vehicles overseas, you have to accept the fact that there will be some new, small dents on the sheet metal hood and trunk (if it's a car). This is because the movers literally have to walk on the vehicles to go from one end to the other inside a tight-fitting container. Now they left no scratch marks that I could find on said surfaces, so they did their best. But if you are a 'car guy,' you'll inevitably notice this. Can't be helped. But I thought you should know, and consider it. (BTW, I did purchase insurance; in retrospect, I could have saved my $, but you know what happens when you don't bring an umbrella! Plus, I'm sure that a considerable part of the net margin earned by those providing the service is 'here.' In my case, they earned it.)

Great experience from start to finish. Easy to communicate with. Sensitive cargo shipped to my door from thousands of miles. Exceeded expectations.
