The price was right. The process was fairly easy. I used a moving crew. They are the best moving crew I have used up till now. They were professional and very quick. They did everything in timely manner and made the moving experience great for us. I am so glad I booked them.
The most fair and reasonable prices around with no ridiculous hidden fees that I've experienced with other movers. The movers themselves were kind and speedy, and they made my move a much less stressful experience. I will definitely be using them again for my next move, and referring others as well! United States Moving Services has very poor communication with me. I’ve called this company many times and sent emails but nothing happened. USMS sent a subcontractor Boost Express Van Lines (just a terrible company) to move my items out of state. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! I received my items a month after the agreement. I will say this the customer service and communication I received from this company and from Kate C were terrible and unacceptable. I will never recommended this company for moving services to anyone I know. Just an awful experience
They have REFUSED to refund money they owe me for a deposit overpayment. I am shipping my household from Massachusetts to New Mexico. I have worked with a USMS representative honestly all along. When I increased the items being moved I contacted USMS immediately to update the shipping quantity. I expected the price to increase and willingly accepted that. The increased volume resulted in a request for an additional, and very substantial, deposit. I paid the additional deposit via electronic check to a portal provided to me by the USMS representative. The check cleared and was deposited to a sister company (I gather) to USMS. To date USMS has refused to recognize my additional deposit (and I have provided proof to them) and will not recognize this pre-payment in the total I will have to pay the mover when (and if, I am not being given an exact delivery date now) delivers my household. Something isn't right. I hope the company finally honors my deposit. If not, they are nothing less than swindlers.
