J & G Moving

J&G Moving is outstanding. They accepted my job request with very little notice and completed it the same day. James and his team were responsible, professional and exceptional in every way. They moved a large order of custom cabinets up and down stairs in a new construction home without issues of any kind. I highly recommend J&G Moving for all of your moving needs.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. James came to my house to give me an estimate, first clue should have been he only accepts cash. He is dishonest! He NEVER provided me with a receipt for the last $2000 I paid him even after calling him multiple times for that receipt. He claimed to have left it in the mailbox at the resident that I moved from ( which made no sense) but my neighbor checked and it was not there. He and his crew packed shoes with clothing, food items with dishes. I found boxes marked kitchen items containing bedroom closet items. When we arrived to the new address, I found my New mattresses were dirty and my king size mattress ripped. My sofa was dirty. Pictures were not wrapped or protected. Antique furniture that has been moved several times and never taken apart was dismantled. James is not as trust worthy as he wants you to think. He talks a big talk.

James quoted me a fair price without being able to see all that needed to be moved from a storage building to our new house. He & Charles did a great job safely moving all of our belongings . Highly recommend them to anyone who needs a mover!! Good trust worthy folks to work with.

I called and a few hours later these guys just showed up and moved the most difficult piece of furniture so quickly! I’m so thankful!

I'm not really sure what happened, I was told there was availability this weekend - and the gentleman needed to come by to do an estimate the morning prior. It was basically a no call no show which was super stressful. I wish I had an update, but there was zero contact after the scheduling. I luckily found someone else last minute.
