Giving them one star pains me. We had many items MISSING after our move, including pieces of furniture, medication, and undergarments - two weeks with zero returned calls for resolving. I’ve called 12 times and received ZERO responses. I was given the run around by the office ladies for a full week and now complete silence for an entire week further. After posting on my own Facebook, I had several people I know make comments of how they were awful with them as well, including property damage and refusing to contact them back. As a local real estate agent I will advise my brokerage and all of my clients to steer very clear of Jay’s Moving. I advise you to do the same.
I used them 3 years ago to move my house, I just used them a second time to move my business into a new property. The guys were respectable and took care of our property. I under estimated the amount of items we had to move. One bit of advice, if it doesn't fit in the truck and you did not set up a 2 trip move it will be left there. Make sure you discuss this when setting up your move. Well worth the money
This is the best moving company! Steven, Michelle, Mikey, Aaron, Taylor, and Darren really made our stressful day a little less stressful. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants a team to take care of any moving needs you have!
Horrible customer service. They dont answer phones or return calls even after leaving multiple voicemails. I called for 2 weeks and didnt get any response at all. Time to go with another moving company who actually responds.
The day of our move there were 8 employees but no leaders. Most of them sat in the truck and only a few really worked. They took an hour and a half lunch break and then to an hour to go 10 minutes. When I asked what happened I was told “do you know how hard it is to maneuver 3 trucks around Carmel”. They broke a vanity the morning of the move at which time it was explained to us what the process of fixing it would be. However, when they delivered the vanity to the new location they told us it wasn’t broken and that they just took off the legs. The next day we went to move it and the legs fell off. They tried to cover up the damage with a lie. After speaking to management they agreed to come pick up the piece and fix it. It has been 4 weeks and we still do not have our vanity. They have made two appointments to drop it off, we left work early to meet them both times and they never showed up. They didn’t even bother to call us and tell us they were not coming. Now they expect us to take a third day off work to meet them “maybe sometime next week” because they don’t have time on their schedule to do it any sooner. We told them we could met them today and we were told “that’s completely impossible”. Our entire experience has been completely horrific. Its a shame because we have used them in the past. However it is clear we will never use them again. Neither will anyone we know.
