1. They arrived at 7:15 although I was told on the phone that they would arrive at 8am. They never confirmed an arrival window which was what the lady claims justified their earlier arrival.
2. They did not explicitly tell me up front that they would not unload my truck without payment first. While I'm getting the cash they are threatening to leave with my stuff I'm upset that the did not even start unloading while I was getting the cash. They were not amenable at all. I understand some customers have not paid in the past but why are u penalizing me for what previous customers have done. How can u build a trusting clientele like that. They sat in the truck doing nothing while I got the cash letting the price go higher and higher. I was quoted 670 and in the end paid almost 1,000. Hen they are rushing to unload my truck and damaged my dresser claiming they don't have enough time to go to strorage. They would have had time if they started unloading.
3. Very unprofessional. The mover told my landlord he didn't know why I hired a moving company since I did not have much stuff. Who says that. Horrible experience with a company that was not trustworthy. Horrible customer service as well.
Great company great team and very punctual and careful with belongings. Thank u so much Johnny on the move
I would start off by saying this is my second time hiring johnny on the move and I couldn't be more happier with the results. First time they moved out a 2 bedroom apartment to a full size home and they were very respectful of our items and belongings. And this time around even better. They were on time cautious with bigger items and very professional. Pricing was very reasonable and I'm definitely going to contact them for the next move.
I've used many movers before, but Johnny's is the most shady with pricing, hidden fees, and recklessness with moving. I was estimated around $340 for the first two hours. When the movers got here, they brought out a form and started naming all the hidden fees behind the listing, all that needed to be paid with cash before they could even start. Every 30 minutes they would bring another estimate and make you pay before they continue. It was over $1,000, and the damages from recklessness of the employees because 'they couldn't wait to be home' was ridiculous. The employees also said the owner is 'insert bad names here', and that his stinginess would reflect on the amount they would make anyway. Highly recommend you look for a different moving company.
They did not move our stuff and they left and we paid them and they did not do anything
