Johnny On The Move

2 men and a truck arrived at my house, only to preview my move, and attempt to uncharge me nearly $1,000. I clearly stated that I was moving a 2 bedroom apartment when I made the reservation and paid the deposit, but Anna wrote the reservation as a 1 bedroom. When the movers arrived, I was told that I had too much stuff, it would be a 6 hour job, and I would have to pay conflicting amounts told to me by Abby and the movers. Theses are the most unprofessional, careless people in the industry. They are liars and not to be trusted. Expect to be scammed by being quoted one price, only to be uncharged when they arrive, or not serviced at all.

I was nervous at first when I didn’t get an email confirmation. I finally received the email about two weeks before the move and a confirmation call the day before the move. If you can request Tito and Vincent, please do so! They were great! Professional, fast and hard working. Made sure furniture was wrapped tight and re-assembled the furniture. Tito explained everything regarding payment so there were no surprises. Moving is such a stressful process and I’m grateful I had great movers to help me out.

I have moved across country many times for work. This crew was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Unprofessional and complete disregard for handling belongings with care. All of our large furniture was damaged. Seriously… all. E.g. couches dragged across cement on their side. Cabinets dragged on corners with finish completely ruined. Piano scraped along side ruining a family heirloom. Kitchen table and chairs completely ruined. Never finished the job because couldn’t work “overtime” which came to find out was total BS. Couldn’t reach them for days later to find where they put the furniture feet they removed. Total disaster. Do not do business with this company unless you don’t care about your belongings. It has been 2 months since the move and we are still finding damage. Ugh.

I was hopeful that they were going to do great with such a catchy name and all. It was nightmare. Several months later, I am still trying to fully repair the hottub they damaged during delivery. Their delivery person was the rudest person I've ever met. He lied and a made excuses for his poor quality of work. They charged for an extra step on a flat surface. The dispatch lady was courteous but was clearly on 'team excuse'. I do not recommend them.

THIS MOVING COMPANY SUCKS!!! They were hours late, showed up with less men than promised and took absolutely forever. They said they were taking a 30 min break and were no where to be seen or heard from for over an hour. They also broke my deceased grandmothers desk, and argued with me that it wasn’t broken. When I complained to them, they continued to argue that it wasn’t their fault and that the desk was already like that (this desk has been in my family 50 years). The foreman also said he had no reason to bring the receipt to my mother to sign, and forced her to walk down multiple flights of stairs to sign a paper, even though she has arthritis in her knees and 2 ruptured discs in her back and was forced to help them do THEIR job because they moved so slow. They also had an attitude when she asked how to report all the damage they did to our walls and our desk. They were very rude, incompetent and not worth the money in the slightest. You’d do better hiring toddlers to help you move.
