UPDATE: 10/12/23 Jon called me and took care of it promptly, so I change my 2 stars to 4 stars. Thank you Jon!

I'm not sure exactly what to say in regards to when a company promises something then ghosts you...
We used Jon's Movers to move my 84 year mom into my house. Just to make it short, I know the guys were tired.
I noticed that the China cabinet was not put together correctly (it's in 2 pieces and extremely heavy). We, my mom and I, are scared that it may fall over, we cannot move it. I called Jon, he did call back and said that the movers will come and adjust it correctly if not that day the next. That was a week ago, I called a couple of days later, no call back, nothing, even emailed, nothing...Would I use them again, no, customer service is important and one little bump into the China cabinet and it could fall over and seriously hurt someone.

Moved an exercise bike and treadmill. Great job wrapping the items in blankets and shrink wrap to ensure no damages. Delivered to the 3rd floor apartment with no complaints. They were timely and professional.

Review:

I would not recommend this moving company. The two movers they had were quite unprofessional. Speaking on their phones much of the time and moving items without first getting the measurements. This lead to them having to move things back, take them apart, move them again, then take them further apart before getting them through the door. Along with this, the movers also damaged refrigerator doors and attempted to stop a leaky valve with plastic wrap. The result was water damage that required cutting away drywall and the replacement of a valve. On top of that, the company refused to take responsibility for the damage. Save your money. Use a different mover. Update: Upon responding to their denial of my claim by pointing our their limited liability policy did not accurately deny my claim, they literally altered their website's liability policy and then talked about having receipts. Thank god for copy, paste and internet archive.
