They are a pleasant lot, who converse with you, and follow instructions decently well.
Something I appreciate, is that nobody argued or insisted on a specific tip amount. They were graceful about the amount we felt comfortable tipping!

Robert and Luis did an incredible job. From South Bay to SF they helped us finish moving in just 2 hours, even getting a queen mattress up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator. We could not have done it without their positivity and hard work.
This has been absolutely the worst moving experience ever, please read this review and do not hire this company.
I scheduled my move with them, from Sunnyvale to San Francisco, several weeks in advance, getting multiple confirmation emails and several email/phone interactions with the booking team to answer all the questions they had for me.
Pickup was scheduled for Saturday 5/18 at 9am. I called them on Wednesday, 5/15, to confirm that everything was good and asked them to please arrive on time, since I had reserved a building elevator with the HOA in San Francisco for the 11am - 1pm time slot only, because there were multiple people moving in that day.
On Saturday, at 9:30am they still weren't there.
I called their number and a person tells me they had been trying to reach me, unsuccessfully, the previous day to confirm the appointment, and when I 'did not pick up' they cancelled my order. I almost fainted right there. They had my email and phone number, we interacted multiple times until Wednesday, and I absolutely did not receive any call from them.
After a lot of internal back and forth, it turns out the person who tried to call me made a mistake and typed a wrong digit in the phone number. Truly insanity for a moving company to just cancel an order without double-checking the original confirmation, which clearly listed my correct email and phone number, with a long paper trail of interactions up until Wednesday.
They said the movers weren't available anymore and that she would call me back with updates. You can imagine my stress level, missing the HOA elevator window, and having to absolutely move out by the end of the day, all in the hands of incompetent people. I waited an entire hour, texted them multiple times for updates, and nobody ever called me back. They swept my emergency situation under the rug, probably to avoid getting in trouble with their manager.
In absolute panic mode, I went to rent a uhaul truck, which I miraculously found, and did an emergency last-minute move by myself with a couple of friends. We are not professional movers and had to go up/down the stairs for loading and unloading, since I couldn't use the HOA elevator anymore. It was an extremely painful and taxing move on our bodies.
I truly cannot imagine how disrespectful a company has to be to do this to a customer. Joy Moving, if you read this, you should be ashamed of yourself.
These guys are quick, efficient, and easy to work with. My move was smooth and I didn’t have to think twice about it. I’m glad I found these guys, highly recommend for those in Bay Area!
