J&R Moving Service

J and R are professional and dependable. They have moved things for me numerous occasions and are trustworthy and careful with my furniture and boxed items. I highly recommend this moving service.

I used J & R moving for my move from Nashville to FL in early October. When they were trying to get my business, I would get non-stop calls from the salesperson. Once they secured my business I heard nothing. I was the one that had to call them to find out what day my belongings were being picked up 2 days before my scheduled move, and only got a call back after leaving a stern message for them. The day of move went smoothly and delivery was quick to FL, picked up Sat delivered on Tues. Reginald was professional and a pleasure to work with. However, the movers did damage several items; ripped my leather couch in 2 places, took 3 sizable chunks out of dresser, and broke the shelving in my entertainment center. In addition, I was charged $75 for additional stairs when I did not have stairs at either place. The salesperson, James, insured me it would be removed from my bill but to this day, I have not received a refund. I have sent 4 emails and left voicemail but nothing back from them. I have filed a claim for the damage to my items but not sure if I will hear anything back on that either. Due to this utter lack of professionalism, I cannot recommend using J & R Moving Service. If you have another choice, take it. Don't worry about saving money as they will lowball others, but you will pay for it in the end.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I may change my review depending on how they actually handle this review, but it's been a month and a half and I still have not received my belongings. No one from the company picks up the phone - I originally spoke with James and since paying haven't heard a word. He won't pick up. After leaving multiple messages, emails and texts, the president of company finally picked up and tells me it's 'on it's way,' but it's been over 21 business days since day I would be here to receive items. It will be at least 26 business days when they finally arrive (if they arrive!). Still TBD.

I had a great experience with J&R Moving for the move out service. They were on time with the move and was done about 2 hours later. Reginald make the experience awesome as they were knowledgeable and friendly. And give me a deal, they treated me with kindness! I will update on delivery as I’m going from GA to PA! Hopefully the experience stays 5 stars!!!

This company stole my possessions. Overcharged me. Would not take phone calls. Put my possessions in storage and refused to tell me where. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE THIEVES. The things that did get delivered were damaged. They stole heirlooms, antiques, a riding mower and many other things. A lawsuit is pending.
