I've had the same storage unit for almost 3 years now, paying over $350.00 every month! I was told from a different location that I should be paying less and that He could get my payment date moved. When I called this location She was not willing to honor what was told to me! She stated I would have to come in and sign paperwork. I live over 2 hrs away...Why couldn't everything be done over email? She was not willing to accommodate me at all! This is how they treat their loyal customers! Very sad! I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

Reservation turned out to be 4x what I was quoted because you have to buy their lock, the promo disappeared that morning and couldn't be changed. When advertising it should include there is a $22 lock charge.

I stopped in two days in a row and nobody was there so I called the phone number. The lady said they would be somebody there after Wednesday. I went back on Thursday and nobody was there. So basically if you want to use the storage unit you have to do it all online and just walk in there and be surprised of what kind of unit they give you. I'm not that type of customer. I want to see it before I pay. Since this place is never open I'm going to have to go to another storage place.....EDIT: It sounds like they got their staffing issue I don't know. I was able to go in and talk to the manager and she was also training another girl. They showed me the storage units so now I'm happy. I will probably rent one in a couple weeks when I get everything ready

Just Storage Review:

Just Storage I believe is a separate entity from Life Storage. Things appear to be better now compared to my prior review below. So, I'm changing the 1-Star Rating (Life Storage) to a 4-Star (Just Storage) rating.

AMANDA is Gold! I don't even think she knows how much her discernment blessed me. Her ethical morale is a true testament to her value to not only Just Storage, but to who she is as a person. I pray many blessings for her, as she was to me.

3 year old Life Storage Review:

Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Cube Smart was GREAT, but unfortunately sold to this company. When I received an email of the transition I remember sighing and thinking, 'Uh, here we go!' I had a feeling it wasn't going to be good. Not even two months into the switch, and I guessed right, the typical larger company purchases smaller company bad business ethics... nothing but PURE GREED. For those that have been financially affected by the pandemic, make your life a little easier and do business with a company that isn't just about the money. I don't know how they fare elsewhere, but in this time of crisis, Life Storage is a disservice to Saginaw. Oh, and the customer service at that location isn't great either.

FYI: Some of the great reviews below for the Saginaw location, are for Cube Smart. Cube Smart recently sold to Life Storage. The 5-star reviews should be credited to Cube Smart for Saginaw.
