After which they were only a blur ?

We had a two-phase move with full packing service and Nicki the packer was terrific. Unfortunately, the guy who packed the attic put a box of my husband's grandmothers 1930's Polish crystal (lightly packed for storage in the attic) together with the appropriately packed boxes, didn't mark it fragile, didn't mark it top load only and it arrived at our new home in Sacramento with 9 of the 20 or so glasses completely crushed. If he had looked inside the box, I hope he would have realized it would never survive the move in that condition. I doubt that he looked inside. In addition, they left a steel storage rack in storage thinking it belonged with another move (the movers told us this and that we'd have it in a few days). In addition they left a number of boxes and other items in the attic in spite of being told there were items in the attic. We've tried to get a response to all this but none has been forthcoming. The move happened three weeks ago and we've tried to be patient. Now we're hiring someone to retrieve the items from the attic but I assume we'll never see the steel storage rack. K and J knows who we are and if they care about their reputation, perhaps they'll contact us, make this right, and then we'll revise our review, but as I read through these reviews, I notice that they only respond to the positive reviews, not reviews like this. Do they care? We'll see.

One year ago I hired K&J movers.
At first I was impressed. They arrived on time and worked well in an orderly manner. I had 90% of my items boxed and taped up. They worked past our agreed time and were paid $1k more than the agreed $2800 price to mo e less tban a mile away.
But they stole from me sculptures, art work a box labeled jewelry and who knows what else. The majority of the TAPED boxes had been opened, rummaged through and folded closed. My neighbor also used them before I met her and she said they'd stolen boxes from her too. Things that cant be replaced, one of a kind pieces of art and I cant prove it unless I have a receipt most of which from 20-30 years ago.
Towards the end i went out to put the last few things in the truck and both trucks were gone, so i rush over to the new house and one mover was walking out of my back yard and said, 'youre house is locked up tighter than Fort Knox.' So, what was he going to do? When he left the old house, he never said we're leaving to go to the new house, they just left didnt say a word and the second truck had gone probably with my stolen items in it.
I will NEVER use them or Recommend them to anyone. Dont know if the owner knows what's going on, thought it was a family business but they've got thieves working for them. Tomorrow I will look for my White Tiger Picture in the garage that was to go over the mantle but, I already know it isnt there because Ive rearranged the garage twice before after they just threw my boxes in the garage in no order big heavy boxes on top of small boxes labeled fragile-living room or bedroom. But, I will look again. Very disappointed and angry.
So, I paid people over $3800 to steal from me. God will make you pay.
