Used the Kahn family for a local move here in Palm Springs. Their team was prompt, friendly, careful and extremely efficient. The quote was easy and accurate. Nothing was hidden or suddenly revealed at the end of the move. They even had am in between stop to clear out a small storage space that I had. Eric, the lead, sent me a photo of the cleared space ahead of them leaving, which was really amazing and helpful. I would highly recommend.

Moved from Palm Desert to Aguila at Terra Lago on 12/20/24. I asked for 3 men. They arrived on time, moved all my pre-packed crates, furniture and anything still needing to be packed. They delivered it to new address, placed everything in the correct rooms and garage as directed. They had disassembled the beds and reassembled them as well. Everything was padded, and wrapped. I was extremely impressed with their kindness, professionalism and respect for our property. While the final bill was a few hundred dollars over the original estimate, I knew the extra was warranted due to the extra belongings we had, requiring extra time. I highly recommend King Kahn movers.

Moving is STRESSFUL and my family was not looking forward to it. King Kahn made our 2-day move from the high desert to the low as easy and stress-free as it could be! Robert was great to communicate with, and reached out every day of our move to make sure everything was going as planned. The movers themselves were a calming presence (I can't believe that's even possible!) and worked hard to get all our stuff from one place to the other. They didn't come through like a tornado and just throw everything onto a truck as my previous movers have, instead they disassembled, wrapped and loaded everything like it was their own home and their own stuff. They weren't FAST, they were CAREFUL, and that is the kind of service I am happy to pay for.

They were also super easy to talk to and communicate with. The last time I hired movers, the boss in the office sounded great but sent a crew that spoke only Russian so moving day was a MESS! With King Kahn, it didn't matter which of the 4 movers I talked to, every request I made was communicated to the others and was carried out without having to ask twice.

I expected casualties (there's always *something* damaged, especially in a move that big and far), and the only things that didn't make it were an antique side table that had already been repaired several times and re-broke in the same place, and one lamp that we were trying to sell off to avoid bringing it with us. Our beloved antiques and family heirlooms (including a giant upright piano and hi-fi) arrived in the same condition as when they were loaded.
The final bill was a couple hundred bucks higher than the quote they provided, but that is because I excluded several large items from my videos of the house (including the piano, a large recliner, and a few other large pieces of furniture).

I truly hope we never have to move again. But if we do, I know who to call, and will recommend this company to anyone who asks.
