Kinney & Son Moving & Storage

I had a great experience with this moving company. They were very easy to work with, and they took the extra time to wrap some of my furniture, so it won’t get scratched. They were also very careful when moving in furniture to my new house. I would recommend this moving company to my friends and family.

Crew arrived on time. The loading, 200 mile trip, and unloading took 8 hrs. Nothing was damaged. I would use this company again.

Honestly 1 star experience…
They arrived on time at 9am to my apartment and proceeded to take 3 hours to move out my 2 bedroom apartment when I was told 1.5-2 hours to do so. When they got to my new place they also moved kinda slow to get stuff in the new apartment, and allegedly asked if anyone was going to help, like no that’s why I hired movers. When they were finally done at around 5 pm they asked for the money, and it was $500 more than I was originally bid. I don’t know why I’m paying for their mistake of bidding me the wrong amount, they should take the loss for it, not me. Also, had I known it was going to $500+ more because of time, we would have helped move stuff because that’s ridiculous. If you hire them, know how much it is, and sign something that says so because I really wish I would have. May never hire movers again because of this situation, shady business to not be up front if you ask me.
