Kleffels Moving and Storage

Damaged furniture, broken items, and extremely unprofessional. The 'movers' moved items from Point A to Point B, yes, but only about 80% of the stuff. I had to move the remainder because the two crews that showed up to do the work were too busy arguing with one another and then seeing who could do less work so the other crew would have to do more (part of their argument, that went on for hours, was who would be getting the gratuity). During the initial walkthrough, the 'guy in charge' was complaining about the amount of items that had to be moved (which I thought he would have been a bit more relaxed because he and his crew were high as a kite and smelled of marijuana). Almost a month later, I'm now realizing the more boxes that I unpack, the more broken stuff that I find (yes, items were packed properly and only had to travel about a mile, in-town move). Furniture wasn't put back together properly - only the minimum so we wouldn't notice on the day-of move. Surfaces of dressers are gouged and scratched, even though they claim to blanket and shrink wrap. NEVER AGAIN. I've used four different moving companies in my life, and this was by far the worst experience and do not recommend.

I thought it was going to be smooth I heard good things that why I booked them. But they broke things and I had an armour and the couldn't get it out of my house. It has been up and down a few times the guy scolded me and said maybe I should bring the one who did that and show him how it is done. I was upset then I keep finding things broke. And lots of other things happened.

Got a got call from my mom crying over the phone, saying she kicked the moving crew out a few days before she needed to be out of the house. Someone had come to the house and gave my mom an estimate a few days prior so they knew what was expected, and we were all set up and ready to go. The crew showed up high, they were covered in the smell, were extremely disrespectful, one of them sat on her steps and sighed and asked 'you have an attic full of stuff too?' And 'you also have a garage full?' Almost like if they showed up for vacation and not to MOVE HER STUFF OUT! Mind you my mom was anxious about moving so she had been up for days moving moving most of the stuff to the living room and dining room by herself, so most of the stuff was in one spot ready to go. She also had guys tear down her bigger peices of furniture and bring them down a day before the movers showed up which made their jobs even EASIER!...Not to mention all the stuff she had thrown out or given away or sold after the estimate, so it would make moving easier for her. Then they questioned her about the size of her storage units, saying that they 'didn't want to drive all the way their to not have enough storage space' Which would've been delt with apon arrival. The manager of the storage units understood my mom's situation and would accommodated her if need be. Ultimately they showed up high, were disrespectful, lazy and not ready to show up and work, didn't get the crews names because they were kicked out. Horrible experience. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone. Now I have to leave straight from my nightshift job and move her out myself, all because a crew of grown men couldn't handle a little bit of hard work. Might want to look into some of your employees...

Our crew worked very well together. We had 3 stops to pick up all our things and were moved into our new home in less than 8 hours. The price was lower than what we budgeted for which was also a bonus.
