Knollwood Self Storage

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY OR ANY OF THE MAYFLOWER PROPERTIES. I booked a storage locker over the phone and was surprised and annoyed that the price on line was about half of the actual costs once they added on all kinds of bogus fees. Once we actually saw the unit, it was not suitable for storing items. I was told it was climate controlled but it was just barely above freezing and there were clear water stains on the floor where water had seeped in underneath the metal garage door. When I asked to get out of the storage unit, I was told I was free to not put my things in it but I would have to pay the full $168 for two months of use. I wrote to Mayflower and NO ONE ever got back to me. TOTAL SCAM. Avoid like the plague.

While I lived in MPLS, the location was easy to get to- but still private enuf for security. I've lived out of town for about 3 years but have never run into trouble with communicating right away and it's been a Real Person on the other end! I tremendously respect how this company still honors the Human-ness of business. Thank U So Much Knollwood for your thoughtful understanding!! Contessa
