LACKEY'S MOVING COMPANY, LLC

I used Lackeys about 2 years ago and again this year. The last time, they were very fast and respectful, got it done in about 1.5 hours, and charged me $250. This year, when I called to book, I was told the cost was $190 an hour and no further details were mentioned. They got it done just as fast this time, 1.5 hours, because I live in a one bedroom apartment. Imagine my surprise when I was told I’d be charged nearly $600!! And the response when I asked what happened to $190 an hour? They have a 3 hour minimum. NOTHING about this minimum was mentioned at booking. If it had been, I would’ve had to decline. When I mentioned this, all they had to say was that they don’t handle the booking. I’m extremely disappointed in the absolute lack of transparency in the way they do business now. Won’t be using them again, and I advise caution to others considering it.
