We were referred to Lakes Area Storage and Moving out of Brainerd Minnesota from a very reputable realtor in Aitkin.
Brad and Brenda, owners, know the moving business inside and out and we were able to do a walk-through our 3200 sq ft house and three large out buildings and gave a spot on estimate that was better than others. They gave us great packing tips that made it easier on us and they said they would handle and did handle disassembling furniture from beds to glass cabinets. Because I had to reserve the storage unit from U.S. Storage early (also from Brainerd), Brad and Brenda came up with a great idea of moving our items out in stages - first the out buildings, second the basement and third the other two levels. Their crew was very friendly and efficient and laid down floor coverings in the house and even parts of the yard and after each visit there was no dirt left behind. They knew what they were doing, they carefully disassembled everything wrapped and padded where necessary. They loaded up so fast yet carefully, I could hardly believe it - it was amazing to watch. I highly recommend Lakes Area Moving & Storage if you want your move to be worry free, timely and at the best price.
