Lakewood Ranch Movers

The move went smoothly. They were very efficient and nothing was damaged. They went above and beyond by throwing a tarp over a muddy area so that they wouldn’t track it in the house.

Moving in my past has ALWAYS been a nightmare, but I can truly say Lakewood Ranch Movers made this moving experience A DREAM COME TRUE!!! Moving down from the Northeast the prices were astronomical for local moving companies, so I decided to find a company in the area I was moving to. I called Lakewood Ranch Movers and the gentleman who answered the phone was extremely helpful and a pleasure to speak with. On top of that the price I was quoted so much BETTER than any that I could find, and trust me, I looked!! LOL! I can’t say enough good things about the movers. They were punctual, attentive, respected my space, and were in and out in a timely fashion. I’m not sure when my next move will be but I’ve already called friends from back home who are thinking of making the move and told them that if they want Quality, a Great Price, and simply The Best Moving Company in the area, This Is it!!!

Here’s what happened to us, which could easily happen to anyone else. I will try to keep it short:

Scheduled the move 1.5 weeks in advance. $50 deposit was paid, and movers set to arrive at 9am on a Saturday.

It’s 9:30am Saturday morning and nobody was here. I have family and friends waiting. I call Reggie and ask about it, he responds by saying the truck wouldn’t start and the movers had to rent a U-Haul. They should be there “within the hour.” Awesome, sounds great.

80 minutes pass and I heard nothing. I call Reggie back. He says he can’t get a hold or find the crew. He said he will try and figure it out. 20 minutes I call Reggie back, and he says that the crew left to a different job and forgot to go to mine. This was at 11:15am. We had to cancel with Reggie because there was no timeframe in when they would be available again.

I won’t say anything negative, but those are the facts of what happened. My family and friends were thankfully able to rent our own U-Haul that day. But please consider that this could happen to any of their customers because it happened to me.

(After leaving review- god awful liar in his response) Booked at 10am for a weekend move. Do not know how this company could get any 5 star review. Were “ 3” hours late- kept lying thru teeth why late, Seems recurring issue with them- see other reviews- “Lakewood Ranch Movers” did not even show up- Freedom Movers did. They took $50 deposit to “secure the time” I asked for that back, because 3 Hours Late- “Mayor” the owner, is overly emotional and told us they did nothing wrong, and they were not 3 hours late- “are you kidding me?” then threatened to “sue” us if we left a negative review. Buyer Beware, DO NOT even CONSIDER this mover not matter what he tells you on the phone, not dependable and not customer orientated.
