Review:

Liberty is an excellent moving resource for someone who is making a move and doesn't have the time/resources and frankly doesn't want to do the whole thing theirselves. They are incredibly prompt and responsive to all communications. The moving team was kind, considerate and timely. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Pretty good value. However, I was told the movers would arrive at 8 but they didn't show up until 9. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication somewhere. Once they showed up, everything was moved efficiently.

They pulled a shelf off of the wall instead of taking it down by unscrewing it. I have to pay for the damage. They also mentioned a $500 tip they got. Did not have products I paid for with no reimbursement. They were on Angies website. Live and learn. My 2 beds are not wrapped.

Rather amazed at the good reviews here. I am moving from Columbia Falls, Maine, to Phppsburg, Maine and called this company for an estimate. When the company called back, its representative said, and I quote: It will be 'at least a grand' before I said another word. I asked how he could give an estimate without know what I was moving, when and at what distance.. His reply, 'well if you can't afford a grand no sense talking.' How does this company get business, really! Actually, the move would have cost between $2,000 and $3,000, but I would never, ever use a company with representatives who speak as this man does. My recommendation, call Central Maine Moving who actually gives you estimates. Perhaps because I'm a New Yorker and don't understand fully the Maine lingo, but I'm still sitting here with my mouth open!

A few months later, I am now in the process of moving an entire house (5 bedrooms, dining room, two sitting rooms, and two porches. Looking up moving companies and found this old review and comment by owner. No, I didn't ask for a ballpark--in fact I hadn't even discussed any aspect of the move when the owner responded as he did. And I see other bad reviews with the same foul language responses by owner. I like Mainers and I can assure all readers this gentleman is not representative. Look elsewhere.
