We had an exceptional experience with Liberty Bell Moving!
I will say, moving is never easy but Jack and Wes from Liberty Bell Moving were friendly and professional! They had to contend with moving from a third floor apartment to unloading on a busy street. Next time we move, Liberty Bell Moving will be on the top of our minds.

This was the first time that we ever used movers and we were very happy with how well it went. The two guys assigned to our move were professional and went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable with how they were moving our items. They assured us multiple times that our stuff would be well taken care of and wrapped delicate items with care. All of our items arrived to our new home in one piece. The only reason that we have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the price. The move took a little longer than expected and ended up costing us much more than we had planned. Still worth the price even though it ended up being more. Will recommend!

Do a great job

We used liberty bell and we’re beyond disappointed with the result. Many items came out damaged or missing. When confronted the owner suggested that people working for the company may have stolen it or that it was never moved. However the reality was that the movers showed up without a loading log and claimed the loading information was missing. The owner claimed the missing items never made the truck, unfortunately we had proof it did. They damaged the floor of the location we moved out from, they damaged furniture and expensive art and the worst is that lost pictures and memories. Needless to say that they never as much as apologised. The end result is a $6,500 move, and almost $14,000.00 in damages and missing items Their suggested reimbursement of this protected move was shy of $300, we denied and heading to the court.
Avoid this company! Even the owner admits in a call that was recorded that he has hundreds of small business claim lawsuits and over a dozen defamation claims. Clearly to us it doesn’t show this company embraces the Maine values and honesty most of us have. There must be better out there.
