Not sure what the negative reviews were referring too, I personally had a wonderful experience here. I called and got connected to an agent quickly and they ended up selling my house within a few weeks, over the asking price!

I did not use Long and Foster as my realtor (THANKFULLY), but unfortunately my landlord did. A simple one year rental lease should not be difficult to execute, but this was by far the most bizarre process I’ve had trying to rent a place. I’m unsure if it is company-wide or just this branch, but I’ve never been asked to pay Security Deposit and First Months Rent BEFORE receiving a fully signed lease. It screams scam, and I’m very lucky that I had a great realtor to advocate for us. This, coupled with poor communication, which when we did receive communication was slow and generally unhelpful, really makes me never want to use Long and Foster personally, and will make me think twice before renting from someone who uses them again.

This is a review of their agents ability to manage properties. They continue to allow their tenants to harass their neighbors and even threaten them with a response of 'nothing can be done'. I cannot speak on their ability to operate effectively on a day to day bases in regards to the sale of homes, but if their agent is willing to turn a blind eye on their own properties, how do you expect them to handle yours?
